When it comes to mobility options, it’s important to get all the answers before making a decision. Here are some of our most commonly asked questions. If we did not answer your question, get in touch! We would be happy to walk you through your options.

Stair Lifts

Can I purchase a lift and install it by myself?

Our lifts are actually sold as a complete package that includes installation from a certified, licensed, and insured professional. By having our team install your lift, you can enjoy the benefits of your warranty.

We can install your lift in nearly any home!

What are your certifications?

We are dedicated to state-of-the-art, world-class quality and safety with testing certifications to back it up.

We have the following certifications:

  • National Association Of Elevator Contractors
  • American Welding Society
  • American National Standards Institute
  • The American Society of Mechanical Engineers
  • The National Electrical Code
  • Intertek’s ETL Certification

My staircase turns at the landing. Can I still use a lift?

Absolutely. Our chair lifts can be installed on any staircase, regardless of the size or shape. Our technicians will inspect your staircase and make recommendations that will suit both your needs and your home’s design.

Can I move my stairlift?

Yes. If you decide to move, we can remove your stairlift and set it up on your new property. However, each lift is made to match its designated staircase, so keep in mind that it may not fit the existing staircase in your new home.

Home Elevators

Can the elevators be manually operated?

Yes. In the event of a power outage, you will still be able to use your home elevator. All our products are battery operated, making their usage independent of your home’s power. After you’ve exhausted the battery, you may need to move the lift manually between floors. Anyone outside the lift will be able to do this. Plus, there is a phone inside each elevator, allowing you to call for help if you need.

How long does installation take?

Most of the time, a team of two certified technicians can install the elevator in two to three days for a standard install. When you meet with our team, we’ll walk you through what to expect as we begin the installation.
